Online Payment

We accept credit card payments from the following and we use Sagepay as our payment provider:

Tax charges

All prices on our website are shown inclusive of VAT at 20%.

Customers ordering from outside the EU are able to purchase goods free of tax. We ship our worldwide orders using Royal Mail, Business Post and FED EX to offer a rapid, secure service. Delivery times vary depending on destination but most orders arrive within ten days.

Please note that all credit cards will be charged in Sterling and this will be converted to your local currency by your credit card provider.

Shipping & Handling for UK Orders

For all UK orders upto weight 1.9kg there is a carriage charge of £3.50.

You can upgrade your order to next working day delivery for a flat fee of £7 with Royal Mail Special Delivery and we recommend this for higher value items also. PLEASE NOTE: Orders must be placed by 1pm for this upgrade to be available. ALL OUR SHIPMENTS WILL REQUIRE SOMEONE TO BE PRESENT TO PROVIDE A SIGNATURE ON DELIVERY.

Heavier items will be charged on weight and for most items this will be maximum of £18. Very heavy items however may incurr additional costs.

We also reserve the right to use our courier Business Post where we deem the item unsuitable for the Royal Mail, Bikes and heavy items for example. You can also choose this option during checkout if you wish.

Shipping & Handling for International Orders

All International orders weighing under 2Kg are shipped using Royal Mail. You will be given the option to upgrade your shipping to a Courier service at an additional cost dependant on the size and weight of your order. All Orders over 2Kg are shipped using Business Post Courier. Bike frames and wheels and other bulky items will often appear to weigh far more than expected because these packages are charged at volumetric rates - ie you pay for how big the box is and not how much it weighs.

Pricing Statement

Whilst prices and specifications have been checked, no responsibility can be taken for errors or omissions. We reserve the right to alter prices and specifications without further notice.

Out of Stock Items

If at the time of ordering any items are out of stock we will advise you, via email or telephone of any shortfall and provide a revised despatch date. We will despatch the in stock items by the next working day at the latest.

Returns Policy

Please contact us if you would like to return any unwanted or unsuitable products. We will provide an exchange or refund, whichever you prefer, providing they are returned unused and in re-saleable condition with all the original packaging within 30 days. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay for the return postage costs and you should use registered post to ensure confirmation of posting and receipt by us.

No postage costs are refundable unless there is a fault with the goods.

Right to Cancel

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 which came into force on 31 October 2000 provides statutory backing for the good business practices which Bike and Run Ltd already observe. The regulations allow a consumer to return any products (except custom orders) ordered by mail / phone / fax or internet from Bike and Run Ltd within seven working days for a full refund.

Warranty Policy

We guarantee every product we sell. If you have a problem we will do our best to sort it out. Most items carry a one year warranty and certain items come with more, so check the literature supplied to see what terms apply. We will generally replace defective merchandise within the first 30 days and repair or replace at our discretion after then. Some manufacturers ask that you deal direct with them for warranty issues so it is important that you contact us prior to returning any products. You will be responsible for the return postage costs.

Delivery of Bicycles

All bicyles purchased from us online or mail order are fully assembled by qualified mechanics and then re-boxed so that the minimum amount of assembly is required on delivery.

We will provide the neccessary instructions for the correct assembly and of course we are available to answer any questions should these not be clear.
