Bianchi chose the 2026 Strade Bianche to unveil the latest generation of the Infinito, and it could hardly be a more fitting stage. With its mix of tarmac and iconic white gravel roads, the event perfectly reflects what this bike is built for.

Completely redesigned from the ground up, the beautiful new Infinito blends three key qualities: the performance expected from a premium road bike, outstanding comfort for long hours in the saddle, and the versatility to handle mixed terrain with confidence. The result is a true all-rounder that encourages you to keep riding long after the miles start to add up.

The Infinito has always focused on comfort over distance and rougher roads, and that philosophy remains at its core. What has changed is its expanded capability. While still very much a road bike with geometry optimised for paved surfaces, the latest version incorporates several gravel-inspired features that allow riders to confidently explore beyond smooth tarmac.

The new frame and fork have been developed together as a fully integrated system. This approach improves stiffness, aerodynamics and handling, delivering a measurable 12-watt efficiency gain compared with the previous generation.

At the centre of the new design is the latest version of Bianchi’s patented Countervail vibration-cancelling technology. Strategically integrated into the frameset, this updated material combines viscoelastic compounds with specially developed carbon fibre and is now 20 percent lighter than before. It also works alongside a redesigned seatpost to further reduce vibration and rider fatigue.

Countervail is now integrated into the seatpost as well as the frame structure, allowing Bianchi to maximise comfort without relying on bulky external damping systems. The result is better control, reduced muscle fatigue and more energy left in your legs over long rides.

The Infinito range includes two frameset options. The standard Infinito features Countervail technology in the fork and seatpost, while the Infinito Pro adds Countervail integration within the main frame as well.

Bianchi has also refined the bike’s geometry to enhance comfort and stability. A slightly higher stack supports a more relaxed riding position on long days, while longer chainstays improve high-speed stability. Zero-offset seatposts help optimise the rider’s hip angle, improving breathing and pedalling efficiency.

Tyre clearance has also increased significantly, with space for slick tyres up to 40 mm wide. This opens the door to light gravel riding while also improving traction and comfort on rougher roads.

Despite these added capabilities, the Infinito retains Bianchi’s elegant and distinctive design language. Clean modern lines give the bike a sporty yet refined appearance, while practical features such as a discreet internal storage compartment allow riders to carry essentials like tools or a lightweight jacket without affecting aerodynamics.
