Bikefitting Service

We provide a standard bike fitting service using the 'Bikefitting.com' measuring system which costs £40 but is fully refundeable when you purchase a frame or bike from us.

The Standard analysis provides a detailed drawing including all necessary sizes for adjusting the bike and with a proper frame geometry. 

Dynamic Bikefitting

We can now also provide 'Dynamic bikefitting' using 'Dartfish' video software. 

Dartfish enables us to analyse your riding position whilst actually riding your bike.

This can be a more accurate method of ascertaining the best riding position for the rider than a static bike fit.

If you are serious about cycling and want to ride efficiently and comfortably then we would recommend a Dynamic bike fit.

Gait Analysis

Gait analysis is an assessment of your running style which we can now perform with the help of 'Dartfish' video software.

One of our trained staff will carry out an assessment of you as you run on a treadmill.

We can slow down the action and see clearly what is happening with your feet and more easily recommend the correct shoes for your style of running.

You will also be able to view the video and see for yourself how you run.

Having the correct running shoes for your style of running will help prevent unnecessary injury and ensure that you are running as efficiently as possible.

Wetsuit Testing

When purchasing a wetsuit we realise that fitting in the shop can be different to when you actually get in the water so we allow a period of grace of 7 days in which you can return any suit for a different size or model. 

Test bikes

Test bikes are available for most of our brands so please ask in store if you would like to try out any of our bikes. Bikes can be taken for a brief test ride and returned same day, any longer preriods are chargeable at £20 per day.

Proof of who you are and desposit for full value of the bike will be required.

Finance Packages

We work with Moneyway Cycle Finance and are able to offer 0% interest on most bikes or frames in excess of £500, details subject to individual circumstances and values of purchase and credit approval.

We can offer between 6 & 18 Months interest free finance

The minimum deposit is 10% with the balance payable by equal payments over the 6, 9, 12 or 18 months. 

Finance is only available for in store purchase.

Repairs and Servicing

Maintenance and repair of all bikes is performed by fully Qualified mechanics in our in house workshop. All new bikes come with a free 1st service during the first 3 months. Prices for general servicing start at £40 for a basic tune up, more extensive servicing is detailed below:

All workshop jobs MUST be booked in through the workshop; and due to our small storage space they must picked up when arranged.  You can either call in to the shop or ring us on 020 8815 1845. We will generally endeavour to complete servicing on the same day subject to parts availability and similarly expect that you collect you repaired bike as soon as possible and in any event within 48 hours.

When the bike is brought in a member of staff will go through your requirements and provide you with an outline estimate of what will be required. Should this change when we start work we will contact you, so it is vital that you leave us a contact telephone number and/or email address. We also ask that the bike be in a clean condition for us to work on. Excessive cleaning may be subject to a charge over and above any servicing costs.

Visual check of complete bike for major problems.

Brakes checked for correct operation and pad wear.

Gears checked for correct indexing and chain lubricated.

Bolts checked and tightened including crank bolts.

Pedals tightened and re-greased.

Tyres checked for damage and inflated to the correct pressure.

Visually check for damage, cracks and miss-alignment.

Standard service: £65 (not inclusive of parts)

Visual check of complete bike for major problems.

Check all cables and outers for wear or damage.

Check and tighten headset (not removed or greased). 

Remove, check, lubricate and re-fit the chainset, chain, cassette, front and rear derailleurs.

Remove, check, lubricate and refit the bottom bracket.  

Gears checked for correct indexing and chain lubricated.

Brakes checked for correct operation and pad wear.

Seat post removed and lubricated and refitted.

Pedals tightened and greased.

Bolts checked and tightened including crank bolts.

Remove the wheels, check hubs, spoke tension and true up.

Tyres checked for damage and inflated to the correct pressure

Visually check for damage, cracks and miss-alignment

Full Service : £100  (not inlcusive of parts)

Visual check of complete bike for major problems.

Check all cables and outers for wear or damage.

Forks removed and headset stripped, re-greased and adjusted.

Remove, check, lubricate and re-fit the chainset, chain, cassette, front and rear derailleurs.

Remove, check, lubricate and refit the bottom bracket.

Chase out the bottom bracket threads and re-face the shell if required.

Gears checked for correct indexing and chain lubricated.

Brakes checked for correct operation and pad wear.

Seat post removed and lubricated and refitted.

Pedals tightened and greased.

Bolts checked and tightened including crank bolts.

Remove the wheels, check spoke tension and true up.

Strip down, re-grease and adjust both hubs.

Tyres checked for damage and inflated to the correct pressure.

Wipe down frame and visually check for damage, cracks and mis-alignment.
